We used star gleam education to help with 11 plus English preparations and my daughter has managed to secure a place in tiffins. Stargleam provided great material for boosting creative writing skills and tutors provided detailed feedback that helped in identifying the gaps and addressing those.

My son had a wonderful experience with Stargleam booster courses as well as a bundle of mock tests. I am absolutely pleased with his Bucks secondary transfer test score of 158. I have had the pleasure of working for Star Gleam Education for almost a year. I am an extremely hardworking and committed tutor who runs the WordBank group classes and also provides 1-1 tuition for students.
My expertise is in English. The WordBank group classes which I teach on Thursdays and Fridays involve teaching students high level vocabulary. Not only is this is a great help with creative writing, this also familiarises children with the tricky language which is frequent in comprehension papers. This allows students to thoroughly understand the texts they are presented with.
I have had much positive feedback from these classes. Many parents have complemented my teaching style which engages students by allowing them to be creative with their learning.
In addition, my 1-1 classes cover comprehension, creative writing and SPAG. My teaching hours can be very flexible depending on the times in which parents/ students are available for classes. I have also had lots of positive feedback from these sessions as I have tutored several students who have been accepted for their top choice of school after the 11+, especially the Buckinghamshire schools.
I find working for Star Gleam Education an extremely fulfilling job; I endeavour to help students as much as I can with their studies.

Having worked as a tutor at Star Gleam Education for the past 5 years, it is a tutoring institution that (aligning with U.K. Teachers Standards additionally) is extremely reflective, adaptable and transparent.
From the day I joined till date, tutoring with Star Gleam has been an easy process. Sunitha, the founder, is a very reflective practitioner, ensuring that the teaching materials, methods and means of delivery are always up to date, meeting a variety of student needs and abilities.
I have overseen the 11+ classes in particular, and the many successes that Star Gleam’s pupils have had, thanks to Sunitha and the team, who put in the extra hours behind the scenes to ensure tutoring is of a high standard. The success rate is extremely high with our pupils.
When the process of tutoring a child commences, I found it to be extremely transparent through WhatsApp group chat communications, where regular session times, lesson plans, trackers and updates are posted. Star Gleam have left a very positive impression for us on 11Plus journey for my son
We started the journey with Star Gleam in Y4 for my son and we have no clue where to start and what to pick. There have been various recommendations provided but we choose Star Gleam for various reasons. Firstly, its the number of kids in class giving my son an opportunity to speak and also for the instructor to focus more. They always have small batch’s so enough attention is given. Secondly, they don’t just focus on specific consortium wise training but give an opportunity for the kid to be ready for various format of 11 Plus like Bucks, QE, Reading, Sutton, Kent, Tififn’s, Slough etc., and I am proud to say, my son have cleared all the 11 Plus exams he attempted and especially the top ones. Third is the feedback and push from instructors which have really helped. Finally the vast amount of material that helped to try variety of questions to improve the accuracy and speed. They also do topic wise which helped him to focus on weak areas and improve them . Mock exams are excellent to assess the performance and they always set the bar high to push the kids to reach higher levels.
I have noticed huge difference and focus especially on my son’s English and this wouldn’t have happened without Star Gleam and strongly recommend this to others
